Annual Foods and Cash distributions for the Paraplegics Widows and their Kids

budget: $30,000.00

Every day we see struggling women on wheel chairs running or sitting with their wheels at the front of one supermarket or another in expectation to have their daily bread not for themselves alone but also for their kids.

In all these, there are some women on wheel chairs who would not beg. These special types try to organize themselves with some types of petty trade like call card sales and/or fruits sales.

Adonai Arts Foundation went closer to these hardworking types , interviewed them and we discovered that some of them were able to save some money over many years to start the little businesses we saw them managing.

The sad thing about their efforts is that they could not make much profits in the businesses for lack of funds to improve on the businesses before them.

In view of this the Adonai Art Foundation after a thorough investigation has selected 15 of them that are very hardworking. From the selected fifteen, three of them were selected for the first batch of the Food and Clothing distributions to assist them.

Six bags of Rice, Onions, Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Mosquito Nets , Clothing and Cash were provided to assist them in feeding and for the improvement of their petty businesses.
