My name is Ebrima Gitteh, a Gambian born artist living in serrekunda. I am a 21year old young Gambia artist. I like art since I was a child, because my father always told me to keep being a star and that words do motivate me a lot.

 

I am a self-taught artist. I did not offer visual arts in my senior secondary school. I am a gifted painter, though I never concentrated much on developing and upgrading my artistic talents because my dream was to become a footballer at that time.

 

I finally quit football in 2014 after I sustained a very serious ankle injury on the field and opted to start and develop my artistic talent sometimes in 2017.

 

I started having more love for art.
I like to paint portraits and abstracts because I want to represent my culture, educating people through art and to bless the world with my talent. I believe that I was born with this talent.
