The unbelievable increase in the rate of street kids and unemployed adults have become  great threat to the future of our country and national security…

 

This is the major reason why we as Visual Artists have put heads together to establish the Adonai Art Foundation, The Gambia to support the Government of The Gambia's in reducing the unemployment rate of both High School, College and University graduates.

 

Graduates at all levels could be seen doing nothing after 12 or 14/18 years of learning. The scholarship scheme for the best students in Vocational Subjects is  very important as it would serve as tool or instrument to encourage and gear students up to prepare for the competitive job market in the country.

This encouragement would also serve as eye opener and prepare them to be self reliant , gain courage and confidence to start their own  businesses .

The establishment of such scholarship…would make our focus on creating a sense of purpose and opportunities for entrepreneurial through Visual Arts and Vocational Education a reality.
